About Vector Storm
Vector Storm is a fast-paced top-down arcade shooter that rewards aggression, precision, and smart builds. Fight through endless waves of escalating enemies, survive devastating boss encounters, and grow stronger with every run.Procedurally generated adaptive soundtrack
Survive. Build. Repeat.
Each run drops you into an arena that gets deadlier by the wave. Clear enemies to earn credits, spend them in the mid-run shop on weapons and upgrades, and scavenge gear from fallen bosses. Die, bank your tokens, and come back stronger.Build Your Loadout
Equip tiered gear across seven slots — cockpit, wings, boosters, plating, shield, dampener, and weapon bay. Every piece changes how your ship performs. Stack synergies, push your combo multiplier, and find the build that carries you deepest.Five Ships. Five Playstyles.
Start with the balanced Viper or unlock faster, stranger ships as you clear waves. The heavy Bastion regenerates shields. The Phantom opens with a stealth window. The Ironclad reflects damage back. Each ship demands a different approach.Meta-Progression
Tokens earned each run fund permanent upgrades — more health, faster fire rate, bonus starting credits, and more. Sink enough tokens into the tree and the arena changes with you.Features

It's a passable twin-stick arena shmup with roguelite upgrades and progression (of course), and really could use a bit fixing up. Like the menu buttons, some don't have labels for controller and some don't work even though they're listed. And this big one, random placement of your ship on every level sometimes sees you placed right under an enemy or even worse, a boss, and that's instant death. Did anyone play test this? You can't have that. Good runs instantly wiped out if you're unlucky. Outside of that one minor and one major annoyance, it's okay, fine. Controls are responsive, sound fx and music are decent, but there's not a lot of game here.9 found this helpful
Really surprised by how much I ended up enjoying this. (kinda addicting) It feels like Asteroids mixed with Geometry Wars, with a roguelite progression system that gives you a lot of weapons and upgrades to mess around with. It's tough, but unlocking new stuff and trying different builds kept things interesting. Definitely worth a try!2 found this helpful
Challenging bullet hell that keeps you coming back for more. The ship combinations, weapons and meta upgrades make each run unique.
