The game is a lot for its value. The mechanics feel smooth and responsive. The difficulty aspect is there if you want to achieve 3 stars for every level and the leaderboard. I enjoyed playing the game with my controller.

Basic, almost generic platformer, that caters to speedrunners. Aside from basic movement, you may also jump and use a bow with an endless number of arrows. The game is divided into four difficulty stages, each with five levels. The entire process is linear, and you don’t get to choose stages. The goal of each level is to simply reach the end while killing enemies and jumping over spikes. Enemies came in very limited types and either die with a single hit or start exploding. If you don’t want to die, you need to pump arrows into an enemy before it explodes. They're not particularly deadly because the main threat comes from traps placed around the stage. The challenge is that you cannot take even a single hit. The slightest contact with a danger sends you back to the beginning. You can earn up to three stars every level based on your performance. This is determined by the amount of time and coins gathered. It is possible to complete the game without regard for the final score. All achievements, however, require you to complete every stage with three stars. I’m missing one quality of life feature; there is no quick key for restarting a stage. Really fun game with a good and balanced difficulty (rage inducing but the kind that makes you want to play). Been following along with the devlogs on YouTube, and I am really enjoying playing it. Haven't yet unlocked the Speedrun mode, but excited to get there!

Not usually a 2D platform gamer, more into my RPG's and FPS's. However ive spent more or less 30 minutes within the game and rather enjoyed the challenges. Movement is smooth and the music suits the speedrun vibe I get from it very well. Game is perfect for challenge runs between friends. More than enough variety throughout the design of the levels. For the price I would recommend it without fail even if im more on the suckish side in it.
