STORY
Trapped in a deteriorating world of mystery, you must navigate a series of challenges and deadly puzzles while in pursuit of a mysterious figure that always seems to be one step ahead. Can you outwit this prison of shadows and survive long enough to find an answer to the madness? Or, will you fail and be consumed by the darkness?
GAMEPLAY
Vile Matter is a psychological/horror adventure game that combines the challenges of the classic puzzle adventure with the fully interactive gameplay of the First-Person genre, taking gameplay beyond the typical point-and-click.
Along the way, you will need to explore the environment and search for clues to help you to navigate the world, all while pursuing a mysterious character that always seems to be one step ahead.
Vile Matter puts the game back in adventure game by giving the player full control over their character as they solve fully interactive 3D puzzles and navigate their way through a handful of unique set pieces that put the player on the edge of their seat and bring this mysterious world to life.

This was awesome! A very short horror game that I enjoyed every minute of. The puzzles were very clever and timed sequences were great. Sale or not, I think it's definitely worth the price.4 found this helpful
The game is OK for what it is. The graphics and sound are good. The story is minimal as you'll find a few pages to tell you what is going on and you're probably going to finish the game in around 35 minutes. I paid 2.49 for it. For 4.99? I couldn't recommend it at that price but do with the info what you will folks!3 found this helpful
Vile Matter is a short puzzle game (very basic puzzles) with a bit atmosphere of terror, it is 20/30 minutes of moderate fun. It does not offer anything to ask for more than 2 euros, this game / project should be free. PS It is not a bad game but it is not good either it is simply a project of something similar to a video game.2 found this helpful
This is a too short awesome Horror Game. I just finished it for my channel and Holy crap, good game! The fear of something chasing you is real. Love it. Decent Puzzles, had me looking a bit foolish some what. Grab the game for 5 bucks and you'll have a good little spook and scare.2 found this helpful
A half hour puzzle horror game. Nothing groundbreaking but I give it the thumbs up.
It's a nice little game. It takes less than an hour to complete, and unless you are bothered by that, it's totally fine. It has a nice atmosphere, and a story that, although quite cliched, it was still satisfying. I bought it without really knowing what I was getting into, and although it's short enough to be free, had it been, I would have gladly donated a similar amount afterwards.
