About Violent Horror Stories: anthology
"Violent Horror Stories: anthology" is an anthology of horror games from different authors. Each game represents the authors' take on the theme of "pursuit" with its own visual design, gameplay, and story. The average completion time for each game is 15-30 minutes.
GAMES IN THE ANTHOLOGY:
- "I ate old man's liver now this b***ch is mine" — a psychological arthouse horror about the loss of virginity.
- "No, i'm not a human i'm a ɿ̲̻ ʍ́ ρ̇̎Ծ̬͎Տ̯ͦ Ե̧͗_ͅ_̝̆ȝ̍ͯՐ͂͡" — an intimate story about a disaster and guests from underground. People are breaking into your home, but not all of them are true people.
- "Sensation" — become a reporter for Japanese television and do not lose your "Sensation," a famous actress who behaves extremely suspiciously. Discover her secret by finding necessary items on location and pressing them in time. Time slips away from you, just like the actress herself.
- "All along the toon tower" — a cartoonish cat in cyclical existential horror tries to escape using his wits and an axe.

was so excited to see NINAH demo in here after having played it and buying this without any idea. overall pretty incredible to play short games from super indie devs and designers in a collection like this. All Along The Toon Tower was the surprise hit for me, didn't expect to be so engaged by a game with such a simple interface but i got SUPER into it. all of the others were really unique and it just always feels amazing to get to interact with art people worked hard to make.2 found this helpful
Randomizing and clearing my backlog - 45/343 Awful.... Besides the last game which became a real game, was such a waste of time.1 found this helpful
Four super-small indie projects. This pack is not for everyone, but i enjoyed it. Thank you! Gonna install the second one.1 found this helpful
I will leave a review on each game as I play them. 8/10 No, I am not Human, I'm a ... I have played the demo for the full release game. The full release has a lot of updates so the characters are randomized in who is a visitor and who isn't. Adding to the replayablility of the updated game. This one is still a fun play. A very cool game with nice art work and music. Worth a play. 6/10 All Along the Toon Tower Side scrolling puzzle game. I wouldn't consider it a horror game. Even though it is not my kind of game but I thought it was good. Took be about 25 minuets to complete. 5/10 Sensation A interesting point and click game. I like the design of the game, but it feels quite incomplete. Only took about 10 minuets or so to finish. 6/10 I Ate Old Man's Liver, Now This B**** Is Mine Quick play, not exactly sure what is happening. I like this dev's other games.

“All along the toon tower” was particularly good, I have mixed feelings about the others. The “old man’s liver” one was, in my opinion, especially bad. I could see how some may love it, but it relies more on shock and absurdity than actually engaging content. As for the other two, they have both good and bad qualities. With all of that said, I would absolutely recommend this game collection for $3. You may find the games more entertaining than I did, and I again must say that the cartoon based game was fun and challenging.
