Arghh, Apps like this dont really do astronomy any favours. I wish with apps like this they would atleast place you on a part of the planet that is actually mapped rather than just a whimsical backdrop. Atleast attempt accuracy with what we know. Even Pluto has been photographed with enough detail to be able to achieve this. Generating a few mountain ranges and changing the colours is just not accurate and is actually damaging for the uneducated that think that it is. The detail Mars could have had would have been fascinating. Yeah its only 5 bucks but the quality is just not there for this type of app.

Cant recommend this experience as of Nov 2018 until some showstoppers are fixed: -the virtual telescope model needs to actually "work" - that is, looking in the eye peice should do *something* -the UI is woefully bad guys.. please get some help with this. At minimum these need fixing: -Dont use the vive trackpad as a mouse. In VR it's more intuitive to press the buttons in 3d space with the tip of the controller, or at a lazy minimum point at the buttons using the controller as a laser pointer. -Keyboard should be QWERTY, not alphabetical. -get rid of the tutorial. Needing a tutorial signals that the app is not intuitive. Use things like tooltips to explain the UI elements, and labels on the vive controllers to describe what the buttons will do. I'll say it again. Get rid of the tutorial. Bin it and find a better way. It doesnt help that the tutorial currently is mandatory. Good luck guys.

A very impressive Space Simulation that I can highly recommend for the price. A little caveat remains, the loading times are a bit too long as well as the software keyboard needs an improvement.
