Voids Vigil

Voids Vigil is an excellent bullet hell/heaven arena auto-battler roguelite. It hits all the right marks for this style of game. 4 game modes, 30 classes, 46 weapons, and hundreds of passive items, traits, drones, etc. The gameplay is fast and smooth. Many of the buffs have a nice risk/reward to them. Most importantly in my opinion, if you get lucky and pull the right weapons and buffs you turn into an absolute god of destruction, slaying enemies by the dozens every second. My only minor complaints are that the environments are all pretty much the same, with the only real variation being whether they have lasers, sawblades, giant spiked balls, or some combination of the three. That and the bosses all feel the same as well. They're all stationary eyeball things that shoot at you with the only variation being harder bosses have more eyes and shoot more projectiles/lasers. Small side note: Any game with this much stuff is going to have a lot of bugs and this game is no exception, but from reading through the discussions backlog and me personally submitting multiple bug reports, the dev seems to have fixed every one of them within a couple days. I liked it, lots of systems to tinker with, can start playing instantly. It's a bit hard to see what's actually working, hopefully i'll learn over time.

Boneraiser dev strikes again with another addictive bullet heaven! Loving it so far, will give a more in-depth review when I've unlocked everything.

I like a lot of these caiysware games. Sometimes, for me, they tend to be a bit frustratingly difficult, but usually they're the perfect amount of challenge. Voids Vigil is that perfect level of challenge. Tons of unlockables, cute and grotesque graphics and descriptions, and many game modes tackle, all evident of a game by caiysware, make this a fun, addictive bullet hell.

This game is awesome. Has multiple game modes with fun and innovative twists on the survivors formula. High speed twitch bullet hell gaming that requires actual mechanical skill that keeps the gameplay from getting stale and repetitive like a lot of other games in the genre. Lots of characters and a good amount of build and item variety. People that leave this game a negative review are not cool 69 gamer guys; in fact they actually suxors and probably could never place top 10 on the leader boards, even on argon difficulty. 🤡 Buy this if you want to play a survivors style game that requires you to actually stay awake and is more than a mindless dopamine releaser skinner box.
