I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing. Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side. With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of y…1 found this helpful
VR: Vacate the Room, developed and published by hOSHI, is a compact virtual reality puzzle game that adapts the escape room concept into an interactive digital format. It places the player in a confined space with a single goal: find the clues, solve the puzzles, and ultimately escape. Unlike traditional escape room titles on PC that rely on clicking through menus and static screens, this game takes full advantage of VR technology, immersing the player directly into the room and allowing them to manipulate objects with their own hands. The experience is built around atmosphere and tactile interaction, focusing on the sensation of being present in the space rather than overwhelming the player with complexity. The design of the room is modest yet deliberate. Objects are laid out in a way that encourages exploration, and players are invited to interact with everything from furniture to small props in search of hidden codes and tools. The art style is simple but clean, ensuring that items and interactive elements stand out clearly against the background. While the visuals won’t impress with high-end realism, they serve the purpose of keeping the puzzles legible and the space unclutter…
Pretty much just a tech demo. Worth it when it's on sale for a dollar I suppose, but it's probably not worth your time in 2024.
Older but solid escape the room experience. Graphics show their age, but performance is excellent. There is no smooth locomotion or teleporting, you have to physically move around the room and search for items and clues. Best thing about this game, is that the puzzles work as intended. There is no "am i doing something wrong or is the game bugged?" feel. If nothing is happening, is because you still need to do something, and really everything is laid in front of us from the start. Took me 20-30 min to finish the game, so a short experience but enteretaining and cheap one (i got it on sale). Puzzles go from finding hidden object and using them where they are needed, to simple logic puzzles. Id say easy to mid difficulty. Recommended even in 2024, understanding that this is an older, cheap (wait for a sale) and short escape the room game that mechanically works as intended, anyone that likes escape the room games should try this just for funsies.
veeery short, still an hour of fun for a quid on sale is ok. the hard version after first escape is worth it.
Short but great
