Vs Chat Pack

The deckbuilder is a great game to play with chat, especially as everyone can join in with the strategy, or sabotage you if they want more humour. It is quite long, but my chat remained engaged throughout. I'm not even all that fond of deckbuilding games, but the interaction made it much more engaging. The typing game becomes really difficult if you have a community with long names, but of course, they love to see the streamer struggle, so not sure that it's really a down side. The randomness of the prediction game was ok, although chat were disappointed to not each have their own ball, it's not entirely clear that you are 'betting' on one particular ball. I am way too slow on reactions to play the runner game competently, but I could see other streamers with more platforming type ability be very engaged with this. Certainly it's nice to have games that are 'troll' proof - fun chill community games that give no ability to random viewers to sabotage the channel. The solo developer is also very hands-on and may pop into stream when you're playing to see if you need any guidance/help or have any feedback

This was such a fun game to play with our twitch community. We had about 10 people participate and it was a blast. I was immediately impressed by how the Vs Chat was able to connect with our community without any direct integration. No sign-in via twitch or anything. All you did was type in your Twitch name and I guess it sent a bot or something to read your channel chat? It was easy. Basically, there are four games from favorite to least favorite: 1) The Betting on Battle Bots 2) Mario Runner styled game except your viewers place traps 3) Zombie Typing Game - Hello typing game 4) Strategic Community Card Game - A little slow, but can be engaging for Hearth Stone players. I've never had a developer to respond to me before, but the creator of this game has been so kind and thoughtful in taking my feedback! Going to be playing it again for sure with my community. Thanks for making this entertaining game :)

This is great fun with chat! Additional games and settings for games would be awesome too - the running game with extra effects could be awesome (Darker game - Limited vision) The card game was too complex for my little brain but really enjoyed it! VS Chat Pack is a great streamer game to play along with your community. The variety of games can be quite small, but we found one or two games that proved fun for me and my community to participate in together. We didn't see the sphere game as spheres since it's a top-down game, so ended up calling them Roombas instead. I think of all the games, we ended up liking torturing me with typing against zombies and running the draft card game as a stream to see how high we could get in the levels. The developer even joined in on our games for a few rounds and helped us get a few suggestions on improvements to them just that much faster. Was truly a nice game for streamers to play with their community, and will be included in my usual Community Game Night rotation.

Was looking for a new game to interact with Chat and was tired of the same old Party games. Vs Chat was a refreshing new take on the idea. Simple games which can lead to a lot of fun and good laughs with your community. Warning if you have member with a long name around, try to only play Typing Vs Chat when they are not there. My Mod had so much fun trolling me with his outrageously long name.

What a pleasant surprise this was! Full disclosure: I got this game from Lurkit from the developer, but that has zero bearing on this review. I watched the trailer on my stream two weeks before I played this and the reaction was meh. Then I got into the game and my community absolutely loved it. Running vs Chat was the biggest hit, but all four games were well received. This game is perfect for community nights as a change up to the normal stuff you see everywhere (Marbles, Jackbox, Quiplash, Among Us). I was nervous about the card game as I am not into deck building, but it's simple enough to understand and I had the good fortune of Kev coming into the stream to help explain. If I had to lodge one complaint, it's tough for mobile viewers to see the commands you can enter for the different games. So keep that in mind as you play. When doing Running or Typing, call out the hashtags your chat can enter because they're harder to see on smaller screens.
