This is a very fun puzzle game that reminds me of the Lolo games on the NES. The difficulty curve has been very smooth so far, and lots of new mechanics get introduced to keep things interesting, as well as different types of puzzles. The game hasn't been too difficult so far, but the bonus levels can be very difficult if that is what you are looking for.4 found this helpful
A fun puzzle game in the spirit of Adventures of Lolo. Don't be fooled by the adorable graphics, the challenge ramps up nicely as you go.3 found this helpful
Aggressively cute puzzler brimming with personality. Difficulty of the puzzles is a little inconsistent and there's not a lot of signposting or clues given, but easy rewinds/redos make experimenting fun. Environmental hazards are introduced to the game at a good pace and it doesn't overuse any gimmicks. Reminds me a lot of Chip's Challenge, only less twitchy.2 found this helpful
Really good game. The animations are quite well-done, and the variety of environments and mechanics is very interesting - it's "sudoku-like," but with a bunch of innovative new mechanics (lasers, fireballs, conveyor belts, and more). Gameplay-wise, it's very satisfying to move things around, interact with objects, and discover how things work together. The puzzles are tricky and difficult sometimes - part of the fun is figuring out how things interact with each other and what possibilities each object presents. If you like puzzle games, and somewhat difficult games, I highly recommend it.1 found this helpful
Charming and challenging in equal measure, Wark & Wimble has tickled my brain more than any game in recent memory. The puzzles are difficult yet the game mechanics, like the ability to instantly restart or immediately take back moves, remove a great deal of frustration and make it entertaining straight through.
I'm following this game since early pre-beta (and played it at least for 10-15hrs on my phone) and I'm happy it got finally released. While it has multiple level types (with different objectives to reach), the best way to describe gameplay is still "sokoban with a twist". And the twist is real, every world has its own mechanics, so you don't get bored solving the same puzzles again and again. Besides this, it has charming graphics, a catching music theme, and a rather smooth difficulty curve. By the way don't be confused with cute graphics. Even considering that many levels were replaced with easier ones - some of the old levels became new "bonus levels", and spending 40+ minutes to solve some of them wasn't a joke.
