Warlock's Tower is a very charismatic retro puzzle. The world is threatened by the wizard and the only chance to save him is through the postman who carries the letter of apology to the wizard. The story sounds silly, and it is, and it makes it so fun in this crazy context. The rooms are very diverse, the challenges have a good learning scale, sometimes they are very difficult and challenging, but most of them are fun. The mechanics are very clear and easy to understand and apply (the hard part is getting to the end of the rooms). This game is ideal for those who like to have fun playing puzzles and like to found challenges along the way.2 found this helpful
Somehow, the levels where you don't have a step counter were the hardest. The last two levels of this game cost me so many braincells. I do not understand monster pathing at all. Loved playing this game though, stumped me with puzzles that were very challenging but apparently not impossible.1 found this helpful
This game provides around 7+ hours of great puzzle solving, and it's so good that I wish it had user generated levels.1 found this helpful
I love the sprites and this is a fun puzzle game where even the slightest error can cost you!
Warlock's Tower is a very tough puzzle game involving limited movements, enemies, switches and other concerns presented in a GameBoy-style of graphics and sounds. I recommend that you try for yourself to see if you like it, but I definitely recommend getting it. Even at full price. Don't expect a whopping story or new game plus, but its definitely very entertaining and good for your noggin. One caveat emptor: it is freaking tough and some of the later levels stumped me for a long while.
Great puzzle game with some real ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ levels. Jokes aside, this game is a real hidden gem and if you love puzzle games you should be playing this right now. Some levels are the most challenging and creative stuff I ve senn in a long time. GREAT puzzle game that deserves more praise.
