1.5 / 10
Uhh, alright. I have a couple of takes: 1) The story is weird and honestly it isn't interesting. 2) The models are really dookie (with all due respect). 3) This is the most important of all: Why a VISUAL NOVEL games uses 80-90% of my GPU?!?! I'm perfectly aware that my current GPU isn't the most potent at all, but even so I've played other VN Games that don't even use GPU! Actually, most of the visual novels use images; literally PNGs / JPGs. So WHY was my GPU being use so hard?! Is this game mining crypto somehow? I don't know, and I really didn't like the experience at all. The only good thing that I get from thisgame is that you can farm cards -> sell em -> get some money back. That's all.3 found this helpful

Short and shallow. No combat system.
Wild Island Quest is a survival-focused visual novel developed and published by NLB project that blends branching storytelling, resource management, and character-driven decision-making into an engaging adventure about survival on a dangerous island. Instead of relying on combat-heavy gameplay or large-scale exploration mechanics, the game focuses almost entirely on the consequences of player choices, forcing players to carefully consider every decision while navigating an unpredictable environment filled with danger and uncertainty. Beneath its simple presentation lies a surprisingly tense and replayable survival narrative where preparation and judgment often determine whether the expedition succeeds or collapses into disaster. The story follows a group of young adventurers who travel to a mysterious island in search of excitement, exploration, and discovery. What initially begins as an adventurous expedition quickly transforms into a struggle for survival once the island reveals itself to be far more dangerous than expected. From the beginning, players are given control over how the journey unfolds, including the important decision of whether to travel alone or bring companions …
Dev added 3 new achieves about 5 months ago and they still haven't moved out of my rarest achievements showcase because so few people play/complete this game. Achieves have a 0.2% rarity/completion rate which kept them in my showcase the whole time. I like having seasonal achievements rotate through the showcase as I complete dlcs and these were in the way. This game is quite forgettable, meaning that I don't remember much about playing it due to the low impact it had on me. Removed the game from my account and am hoping the achieves drop out too but not holding my breath. One of the most Meh games I've ever played EDIT: Setting the game to "private" or removing the game altogether from my account still leaves the 3 "new" pathetic achieves in my rarest achievements showcase. Get this garbage out of here! For clarification, I can see them but the public can't.
