About Wilhelm Gustloff's Death
Step aboard the MV Wilhelm Gustloff, and immerse yourself in this atmospheric simulation on that fateful day of January 30th 1945
Step aboard the MV Wilhelm Gustloff, a German armed military transport ship that was sunk during World War 2 by multiple torpedo strikes from a Russian submarine. You take on the role of a passenger aboard this ship, and will relive its final moments, from the time it was struck until it slipped beneath the ocean to its watery grave. You will first handedly witness this liner's demise, and what happened on that fateful day of January 30th 1945.
The sinking of the MV Wilhelm Gustloff has never been properly recreated, but now you can completely explore the exterior of the ship, and experience a historically accurate sinking.

✦ AI summary
Players have mixed reactions to this ship simulation experience. Those who enjoyed it praise the atmospheric details like weather effects and the unsettling immersion of watching the ship sink, though some note it's buggy. However, many players find it tedious and not engaging as either a game or simulation, criticizing poor graphics, clunky controls, lack of compelling gameplay, and the repetitive experience of walking around a tilting ship.

great game but should add some interior1 found this helpful
I got this as part of a bundle that also included Titanic: The experience, Britannic, Lusitania, and Titanic: FOAL. Since they are all a thing on their own, I will give them each their own rating as well as what I like, would like to see and fixes I would recommend. Rating: 9.5/10 Pros: At this point, I had already tried Titanic: TE, Britannic and Titanic: FOAL, so I thought I had a pretty good idea of what to expect. Man, was I wrong. With the added rain, thunder and lightning, you feel like your actually there! Nothing strikes a cord more than when it flips over and the lightning is revealing the haul in the water. There are times, if you know the story behind this ship, that it makes you feel very uneasy in the best possible way while going through the simulation Cons: A bit buggy esp if you're in the ship and the water reaches you and pushes you into a wall, few minor things us Ocean liner will notice that the casual viewer may not (i.e. The time on the clock). The Titanic sinks on the wrong side... Fixes: A few places to explore would be nice Recommend: Overall, I will have to say out of the bundle, this is buy far the best one and I will be returning to it!1 found this helpful
This is just a simulation and a poor one at that. If you think walking on a ship as it tilts, it's great. Otherwise, it's rather lackluster. Would not recommend as a game. Would not recommend as a simulation of an experience.
