About Britannic: Patroness of the Mediterranean
✦ AI summary
Explore the historically accurate HMHS Britannic in an immersive virtual museum that brings the Olympic-class ship to life with unprecedented detail and authenticity. Discover the vessel's fascinating wartime history and architectural secrets through self-guided exploration backed by extensive research from leading maritime historians.
Step aboard the HMHS Britannic, the third ship in the Olympic Class trio, who, like her older sister the Titanic, was cheated of a promising career. This ship has never been properly recreated before, and no one has seen her in this state since she sailed the Mediterranean. Now, as the result of extensive research by our team and leading Britannic historians, you can explore her and learn about her like never before.
BRITANNIC: PATRONESS OF THE MEDITERRANEAN is a virtual museum-like experience, where the user can explore the ship at their own pace and discover details about its story, architecture, and contributions to the First World War. This is primarily a learning environment, packed full of history.

I feel conflicted about this game. On one hand it shows potential for Titanic: honor and glory, but on the other it is very bare for a $15 game.
THE GOOD:
The actual presentation of the game is phenomenal, with great care and attention to detail; It is a quality product. The game runs well and looks great! You can learn quite a bit about the ship as little informational nodes are scattered around the vessel when you explore it.
THE BAD:
For $15 dollars, you get a game that has less then an hour or two of content. Why not add a mode where you make your own decisions to escape or help those aboard? That would necessitate adding NPC's, but it can be done. If not that then maybe include more interactive elements; you can't interact with the ship at all at the moment. You can't launch lifeboats, change the telegraphs in the bridge, etc. I understand not having it for a historically accurate mode, but an alternate mode would have been nice. There is a "real time" sinking mode similar to their YouTube videos, but nothing much happens. I feel that they could have added some commentary to the real time sinking to give a better perspective of what's going on for …3 found this helpful
