✦ AI summary

Players are divided on this VR horde shooter, with some finding it enjoyable as a standalone single-player arcade experience with solid gunplay mechanics, while others consider it a disappointing and poorly optimized port that lacks the multiplayer co-op that defines the original game. Major complaints center on severe performance issues even on minimum specs, awkward controls and scale problems, weak AI compared to the non-VR version, and the absence of multiplayer that many feel is essential to the experience. The game appears to work better for some players than others, making it a risky pu

This game is nearly unfairly "Mostly Negative". I tried it for the first time last night, and I can't wait to play again. Are there issues...yea, the graphics seem a little dumbed down, but they're not terrible. Multiplayer should have been added, it seems to be the crux of most of the bad reviews and complaints. Huge missed opportunity. As a single player game, it's quite decent. The gun play is crisp..you can adjust holster position and reload types, I use simple because it's arcade horde shooter not a simulator. It has all the Basic QOL settings you would expect in a VR shooter. Is it to short? I don’t know yet, but this is Saber…I am pretty sure they don’t have the words “long campaign” in their vocabulary with out adding a bunch of DLC. In summation, it’s a stupid fun zed shooter…that’s likely too short and is screaming for multiplayer. I got it on sale. I think it’s 20 bucks normally, totally worth that. I would not pay more though. I have zero performance issues, but I have a decent spec PC.

Singleplayer VR experience separated from the main game which is made to be co-op. Why play this? Why spend money developing this? This is an afterthought that's nowhere near good enough on its own.

This game is ass dude, way to much complication with the controls and when I mean by way to much complication with the control i mean the control is complete garbage... So much for choosing realism right? I mean when i picked realism I was hoping for a simple put the mag in the gun and reload like you do in contractors vr, graphic lame and character feels lackluster

As a person who really likes horde shooters and has played World War Z, to say that this is a disappointment would be an understatement. And all that is due to how abysmal the performance is. Mind you, my system DOES meet the minimum requirements, so there is no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ excuse for the game to be constantly lagging, as well as running at a painfully low framerate whilst everything is set to low. So please, if you have an rx580 like I do (or something similar/lower performance wise), avoid this game.

I enjoyed this vr port for as much as I could but it just lacks what the console/pc port of the game has, I mostly feel like a one man army in the game, heck I don't even feel like an army I just feel so easily killable and I am aware that this is a horde shooter but the Ai just lack so much brain power compared to the ones in the non vr version, there is no multiplayer at all and I feel like that is what really makes me upset, I was so excited to play this but now I just sadly don't wanna play it anymore.

If the game actually worked maybe in a discount, but is badly optimized, had to return it because i managed to make the intro mission and 1st mission work by insisting, when i was able to make those work it didn't work that bad, but still spent 15 ~ 20 mins restarting the game over and over and suddenly it worked. Impossible for me to recomend it in its current state, not to mention a general opinion of which im part, this should have coop/multiplayer, you already go with 2 bots so.. why not? Altho seeing how it was impossible for me after a whole hour trying to make the 3rd mission work... i can see why this devs didn't want to mess with a coop. If you normally don't experience problems with vr games give it a try when u see it in disscount. is essentially L4D but they hit from a bit further away.
