Really hope the main game fixed the issues with the prologue. Can only aim where the mouse is when moving the character. Cannot aim with right stick on controller, will instead move character let and right when pressing stick up or down. Honestly don't even want to bother trying to buy the full game, since the Prologue version works so horribly

"X Invader: Prologue" is is not a game. It's an advertisement for a product called "X Invader". X Invader is a garbage console reject, a 2D retro pixel top down twin stick shooter with no value whatsoever when compared to contemporary PC games. But this was a smash hit when it was published in 199... wait a second, this was published in 2023??? This is why amateur developers have such a bad name. X Invader was published the same year as games like Spider-Man 2 and Diablo IV. And this crap. Jesus wept. But this isn't completely relevant because this is not X Invader, it's just an advertisment for it, so it's not correct to try to review that completely distinct product. We must instead review this for what it is... an advertisement. If you enjoy advertisements, you can consume them for free on the web or on Youtube without needing to add them to your game library, download them, and then launch the advertising. It's impossible in a general sense to recommend people should do that over playing real, full games on Steam, and that applies here with "X Invader: Prologue" too.
