About Xargon Remake Ep.2
Xargon Remake Ep.2 is a run and gun 2d action platformer where the player advances through a game map by completing levels. Each level has its unique nonlinear layout, where the player must explore and find door keys and artifacts for progression, as well as new enemies, item pickups and different power-ups.
This is a remake of the classic 1993 DOS video game Xargon, developed by Epic Megagames, under the supervision of Allen Pilgrim. The original game has three episodes, this version is a remake of the second episode.
The graphics in each level layout, from the original game, have been replaced with new assets and textures. All enemies' sprites from the original game are enhanced and upscaled, as well as new enemies and bosses are introduced. New captivating music tracks are introduced for some stages in the game.

✦ AI summary
Players appreciate the core game concept but struggle significantly with input responsiveness issues on both keyboard and gamepad, making it frustratingly difficult to play despite genuine interest. Additional complaints include an unexpectedly large storage footprint (7GB) and outdated input limitations inherited from the DOS-era source material that compound the control problems.
really cool game but nearly impossible to play due to constantly dropped inputs on both keyboard + gamepad I get it, its an old DOS game ported to Unity, there are some old timey things like not being able to press 2 buttons at the same time, or if you press something while pressing another button it doesnt get registered. But there are ALSO input drops that make playing this not feasible in spite of my best efforts and most sincere desires Also, the install is a few MB but the game itself takes up 7GB on your drive3 found this helpful
