Fun little game where you control a torpedo with left, right, and boost. Level names are often amusing or thoughtful, like "Just like Hollywood" or "" Keep your enemies closer". It has a variety of enemies, or rather obstacles to keep it interesting. The levels are not too hard or too easy. The only thing I don't like is the hitbox. You can die from the mine explosion even if your body is 20 pixels away.3 found this helpful
"You are a torpedo AI" is an slightly (not very) innovative twist on the Endless Runner theme as you have a 2D retro pixel top down view of a torpedo that gets shot out of a cannon (that's not how torpedoes work) and you must guide it to a blobby 2D retro pixel submarine. Ok. There's lot of obstacles to avoid. That's the whole game. Incredibly shallow stuff in the era of games like Baldur's Gate 3, so there's no real value or merit as a serious PC game for serious PC gamers here. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but…3 found this helpful
You are a torpedo AI is an arcade-style indie game developed and published by Leonardo Alexandrino that embraces a straightforward concept while delivering a surprisingly demanding challenge. Instead of placing players in the role of a pilot or military commander, the game casts them as the artificial intelligence controlling a torpedo on its mission toward a target. The premise is intentionally simple, allowing the gameplay to become the central attraction. Every stage is built around navigating dangerous obstacle-filled environments where precision, timing, and quick reactions are the only tools needed to survive. Its minimalist design reflects a classic arcade philosophy that focuses on improving player skill rather than relying on complex mechanics or narrative elements. The core gameplay revolves around steering the torpedo through increasingly difficult courses packed with barriers and hazards. Although the controls are easy to understand from the beginning, mastering them requires patience and consistency as later stages introduce tighter spaces and more demanding layouts. With more than ninety handcrafted levels, the game steadily raises the difficulty while avoiding drama…2 found this helpful

I love it but I'm stuck at level 7 :/2 found this helpful
This game is truly fantastic! It boasts exciting features and challenging levels that have kept me hooked (though it has also driven me a bit mad). I find myself wanting more! However, I do have one suggestion: could you make the Sea of Perseverance a split choice? The lengthy levels can be discouraging and make me hesitant to try again. Thanks for creating such an enjoyable game! (I could really use a break from the frustration). It's a fun little experience where you maneuver a torpedo using left, right, and boost controls. The level names are often clever or entertaining, like "Just like Hollywood" or "Keep your enemies closer." There’s a good mix of enemies and obstacles that keep the gameplay engaging. The difficulty is balanced, not too hard or too easy. My only issue is with the hitbox; it feels unfair to die from a mine explosion when you're still a good distance away.1 found this helpful
