About Z: The End

Z: The End is a survival game in a zombie-infested world. Your only goal is to survive.

The virus escaped containment, and the infected destroyed the world. Scavenge what is left, build a safe house, and find or craft weapons to fight off the zombies.

Features:

  • Casual Zombie Survival Sandbox that's meant to be easy to pick up and play.
  • Single-player where you can save anytime, with cloud saves supported.
  • Zombies that are slow but still dangerous.
  • Find or harvest materials for building and crafting.
  • Loot, hunt, or grow your own food to stay fed.
  • Build a house of your own or reinforce an existing one to your liking.
  • A moderately compact map that leaves room for exploration, without taking hours to traverse.
  • Day turns to night, and Mother Nature continues to take its course.
  • Weather that impacts the world. Rain and thunderstorms make the plants grow faster and reduce your visibility, while fog makes it even harder for the infected to see you.
  • Walk with the infected by covering your scent with their guts.
  • Find notes from survivors to see what happened to them and the world.

Changed review to positive. See developer response. I dont understand the mind of a developer. Pours love into a game (whether good or bad), decides to send it to early access. But gives their customers no hint on what the keys do and leaves them to guess the basic functions of the game. Tab is inventory. E is use. There are numbers (1,2,3) with none attached to each. B is build. C is craft. The numbers dont seem to do anything, although I can't equip anything to them. I have handgun, food, and supples but don't know how to equip anything. I've tried selecting it from the inventory but that doesn't work. I have no idea how to get water. Even if I built or crafted something, I have no idea how to use it. A simple notice in game, in the guide section, in the forum, anything, would let me play this game long enough to give a better opinion. Making a game without a tutorial is a terrible idea these days. Making a game then providing your customers no information about how to play it is absurd, even in early access. We are customers, not testers. The game is not free. It's not expensive, but the graphics, movement and play is not worth the price as it is now. I w…

Fun Little play. The game has some great mechanics like building and crafting and features alot of guns. Which will keep you entertained for a couple hours. No story or any real goal.

Keeping this game for it's title, Z. I love the simplicity this game offers, but it's real annoying when it forces me to stop shooting despite having a good amount of ammo. Good relaxer, unless you keep dying to zombies since your fists do little damage mixed with the small range (you have to be real close to the zombie to actually land a hit which the zombie can hit you easily). This game would be fun if you had a gamemode like Creative in Minecraft, just spawn all the stuff and build your little forts, etc.. Just my quick though on this title, would suggest!
