it's pretty short, it's way too easy to get lost, the forest part you just wander around hitting invis walls until you stumble into the right place.

This is one of the worst horror games I have ever played. Filled with bugs, and definitely not scary. The character models are horrible looking too.

I just played this game and gatta say the sprint mechanics LOVEEE - got me good in a few jump scared hahah - wished there were more interactive objectives or puzzles over all was super fun and scary to play!! 🔥 would different things extend game play? Also I didn’t see any codes I could’ve used to open that one box anywhere 😢😢

This was a good one! Def a must play for fans of the horror genre!

Zahmarel was actually really solid—and yes, I liked this one. First off, the gameplay deserves credit because it’s not just a walking simulator. You’re actively running from things, searching for items, and staying on your toes instead of just holding W and hoping something spooky happens. That alone bumped it up for me. The story was good too. You play as a YouTuber investigating a haunted location, and while I absolutely could not stand the main character (he’s a total douche), his personality actually fits the narrative. He’s the kind of guy who would absolutely put himself in danger for content, and that made the whole setup feel believable. There are some solid twists and turns along the way that kept me invested. The jumpscares? Yeah—there were several really good ones that got me. On top of that, the game throws in a few different mechanics that helped break up the pacing and kept things from feeling repetitive, which I really appreciated. Overall, Zahmarel is a solid horror game with engaging gameplay, effective scares, and a story that works—even if you love to hate the protagonist.
