Zardy's Maze

I thought *Zardy's Maze* was just another short indie horror game trying to scare me with creepy visuals and jumpscares. I was wrong. The graphics are simple. The gameplay is simple. You walk through a cornfield, complete objectives, and try not to get killed. But somehow, that simplicity makes everything more terrifying. There’s something about being lost in the dark with no idea where Zardy is that gets under your skin. The maze feels hostile, and every sound makes you wonder if something is coming for you. You start out thinking, "Okay, I can handle this." Then you hear something behind you. Suddenly, you can't run fast enough. What I love most is how the game doesn't need to constantly throw things at you. It lets the atmosphere build the fear. You know something is out there, but you don't always know where it is. The soundtrack and sound design do an incredible job of making the cornfield feel alive. I've played horror games with bigger budgets, better graphics, and more elaborate stories. Short But Fun

Played this game all the way back in 2023 purely because of the FNF mod. I never really understood this game, because I was so young. But, after 3 years, I might have to try it again.

Finished The Story by Falling into the Pit... TOOK ME 2 HOURS BECAUSE OF THE PUMPKIN HEADED GUYS CONSTANTLY KILLING ME! Diffculty Scale 10/10 Overall Rating: 5/10 Zardys The Fool Hardys!

I love the maze factor and the challenges. Granted some of the challenges can and will get annoying but it's worth it once you beat the challenge.
