Under: Depths of Fear surprised me, I liked it. it’s got a solid atmosphere, that underwater ship setting works, and it keeps things tense without overcomplicating everything. it’s short, no denying that. And I’ve seen a lot of people trash it, but honestly it’s not nearly as bad as they make it out to be. not perfect, but definitely enjoyable if you give it a chance. 7.5/10, buy it if it's on sale

I think overall it was a good game. There are some parts that are confusing and kept dying over and over until I was able to figure it out but eventually I did it.

The game has some interesting moments, and even though you can see where the story is going from one mile away, it still keeps you interested in finding out how it's going to end. But unfortunately, the experience is also plagued by questionable design choices. Some sections are pitch black. If you don't have any matches left, you can't see anything. Even if you set the brightness to maximum, you can't see ♥♥♥♥. In many other sections you're trying to find a key to open a door that looks like all the others, in a labyrinthine area with water quickly rising. This level of pressure quickly leads to frustration. And if you add the fact that many times you run into breakable doors and they don't breaking, leaving you to question if you're doing the right thing or not, well... not cool.
