★☆☆☆☆ - [u]Wizard of Trash[/u] After seeing the reviews (and since it only cost a few bucks), I thought maybe I wouldn't be disappointed. Well, no. This game has so many serious flaws: bugs, poor level design, nonexistent music, chaotic combat that's impossible to read, and absolutely no roguelike gameplay. It’s simple: there are very few healing potions. And the ones you do find don't scale with the game's exponential difficulty. So, the only way to beat it is to find spells with invulnerability frames and relics that let you respawn. But since some relics don't even work, you have to figure out which ones actually do. Ultimately, the game isn't just hard : [u]it's unbalanced, unfinished, rushed, and abandoned[/u]. After four hours with this, I played the original WOL for 20 minutes. I had more fun in those 20 minutes than in four hours with this piece of junk. [b][u]Verdict[/u]: Why recommend a game when the developers couldn't care less? It's crap.[/b]

Positive, BUT... This game is what happens if new devs try to take over a well-loved IP and end up making it more generic. It's not a bad game, but the first one was so loved that the reviews for this one are... rough, to say the least. I'd honestly give it a 6/10. It has some fun bits. However, it has stupid restrictions. It doesn't utilise the buildcrafting keywords properly. There are too few arcana (and the variants are up to RNG, and it's not like the first game where all the ults have non-ult versions and a lot of the non-ult spells have ult versions). There are too few relics (items with passives). If you want a truly amazing roguelite experience, buy the first game. That said, this one does still feel smooth to play (for me) and has some fun moments. The bosses aren't as well designed as in the first one (the first basically gave you a period where your damage would temporarily stun after x number of attacks the boss makes), which does make them feel more like a constant bullet hell while you're trying to build up the stun meter. Como fanatico del WOL 1 quise probarlo a pesar de las reviews , pero no pude ni jugarlo ya que cambiaron el motor grafico a puro 3d y aumque mi pc lo tire no me deja jugarlo con una gforce 765m., puedo correr Battlefield pero no WOL2 una locura , gastamdo 11 dolares solo por ser fanatico pq sino hubiese jugado al 1 nunc se me ocurriria comprar el 2. La verdad una decepcion

Honestly, I am very mad at the community for burying this game like this. I understand that it is different from the first opus but come on, it's a good game. Please, buy it and form your own opinion. If you're unsure, wait for it to go on sale. This game is worth it. There are so many roguelites far worse than this one, but with way, way better reviews. Don't be a ♥♥♥♥ and bury games just because the sequel doesn't tick all your boxes. Come on. (As a side note I have around 200 hours on Wizard of Legend 1 on Switch.)

the wizard exchanged the legend for genericity if the game wasnt abandoned it couldve reached beyond it being a hades clone
