About SYNDUALITY Echo of Ada

✦ AI summary

Venture onto a toxic surface ravaged by alien creatures to harvest rare crystals while piloting customizable mechas and relying on your AI partner to survive against deadly hazards and rival scavengers. Team up with your personalized Magus companion and upgrade your CRADLECOFFIN to tackle increasingly dangerous expeditions in this post-apocalyptic extraction shooter where one mistake costs you everything.

SYNDUALITY Echo of Ada takes place in 2222, years after a mysterious poisonous rain called The Tears of the New Moon wiped out most of humanity and birthed deformed creatures that now hunt the population. Amidst the calamity, humans are forced to build an underground haven to survive.

Take on the role of a Drifter whose goal is to collect the rare resource known as AO Crystals. In your quest, you must collaborate with your artificial intelligence partner to face xenomorphic creatures known as Enders and survive the hazards on the surface.

SURVIVE THE SURFACE

Rise from the underground to a surface world infested with hostile Enders, toxic rains, and other enemies, as you fight to loot for resources. Ride your CRADLECOFFIN, cooperate with your Magus, and stay alert around other players. One false move is all it takes to lose both your mecha and precious supplies, left to be scavenged by the remaining survivors.

THE MAGUS - YOUR PERSONAL PARTNER TO KEEP

This humanoid AI supports in exploration, scavenging, and combat. Each model type has a different personality, and its appearance can be extensively customized. They operate by giving tailored feedback on the objective based on analysis of your previous performance in sorties so you don’t make the same mistakes twice. Keep them close, as Magus can also unleash unique abilities when you are in a tough spot!

THE CRADLECOFFIN - YOUR VEHICLE TO RIDE

The CRADLECOFFIN is an all-weather bipod developed for the harsh terrain of the surface. Each mecha has a different endurance level, load capacity, operation time, and can be further customized with many body parts and weapons to suit each sortie and try new playstyles. Craft new parts by collecting resources and upgrading the garage and discover how powerful a CRADLECOFFIN can become!

✦ AI summary

SYNDUALITY Echo of Ada is a mecha extraction shooter with a compelling story mode and some thoughtful genre mechanics, but players widely report severe performance issues, extreme grindiness rivaling Warframe, harsh penalty systems that can erase months of progress, and aggressive monetization practices tied to cosmetics and convenience features.

They just announced the server shutdown for March 2027. The game will turn into an offline PvE extraction shooter somehow. Source: https://noisypixel.net/synduality-echo-of-ada-online-service-ending-offline-pve-version/

The game has serious stabilization problem and harsh conditions almost every game you get either extreme rubberbanding (did checkd not my internet) or performance issues, not to mention the game becoms your second job or life this game has more grinding then warframe or any other game on the market you can loose things very easly (imagine spending months collecting stuff to build weapons cradles boom they gone now back to the mines :( ) and making them again takes a lot of time except for a few mechanics and the story the game is a failiure if you do interested buy it on discount but even that ı dont recommend.

Nope. This game has little to offer. Based on Synduality franchising, but somehow added a '50 wasteland-fallout ripoff cartoon twist instead of keeping the original anime style. It's part P2W part micro transaction (except they forgot the micro part), of the worst kind. Anything Cosmetic is in essence premium currency bound. You also have to pay for “convenience”. Mecha game play is limited to being your hero “equipment”, there is nothing special mechanically related to riding a big robot in battle. Fundamentally it’s a third person shooter. A mix of most main extraction shooters classic mechanics. PVEVP, gear farming, material grind for base upgrade and crafting. Extremely unforgiving regarding cost/time. Note: there is no pre-made CO-OP. matchmaking is always solo, you can invite random players you meet in map for a coop run (remember it’s still a PVEVP game. They might be into PVP instead of COOP and they don’t have to formally extend an invite to include you). The system will generate a current match party and co-op mission.

performance and graphics options are terrible. game is very blurry. fxaa is completely broken. have to use TSR. no DLSS. game dips in fps a lot which is a shame. So far though im really enjoying the game. not seen any players, i bought this when i found out it is going to become PVE only. hopefully they add player like mechs in the game? I played Tarkov a lot, this is pretty casual. I prefer it much more than Arc Raiders. Just the graphical issues for me.

Story mode is very good. Multiplayer is ok,but later worlds are very unfair and destroy your cradle very fast.

Fun mecha extraction shooter that has its own take for the genre that is actually thought out of. Combat and TTK is designed with progression in mind and you either are going to somewhat gear diff or get gear diffed. There are friendly or aggressive mechanics in the game that either marks you as friendly or as a bounty target if you are a PvP player. It is also on the grindy side.
