I was enjoying it for a bit but it feels like half the things that kill me are things I really have no chance to stop. Like I had a pretty rough death, but it felt like something where I could just get my gear back and turn it around. Then I loaded back into the zone and was attacked by a half dozen dogs less than five seconds, died, and lost my chance to retrieve my good gear. That's when I decided I'm not going to play a game that's just going to piss me other round.
Escape from Duckov is a casual top-down PVE extraction shooter. The premise is straightforward: you play as an anthropomorphic duck whose sole goal is to escape the harsh world of "Duckov." [b]The Short Answer: Is It Worth Buying?[/b] If you love PVE Tarkov and top-down shooters—YES, absolutely YES. [b]Playtime[/b] 7/10 It took me 50 hours to complete all the quests (except for fishing), but it was a blast the entire time. It only started feeling tedious right at the very end because of a specific end-game area that requires specialized high-tier gear just to enter. [b]Story[/b] 2/10 Escape from Duckov... playing as a duck. [b]Music[/b] 6/10 Vibes like a cheerful farm simulator soundtrack, but surprisingly catchier and more fun. The shooting, movement, dodging, and looting loops are exceptionally smooth and satisfying. Modifying weapons is present, though not nearly as deep or complex as in Tarkov. Coming from years of Tarkov this is a breath of fresh air. The game may look cute and simple on the surface but dig a little deeper and you will find an in depth game with a lot of good things going for it. The movement and shooting feels good and crisp, the crafting and upgrading feels steady and not too tedious, and the weapon modification paired with the shooting range is lots of fun. The high adrenaline moments you would get in other extraction shooters is still there. Lots of bosses and maps to play, and the dev keeps releasing more. They also had a colab with Escape from Tarkov not too long ago so i expect this game to continue to get updated and get more and more polished.
"Extreme" is actually really extreme...Not for the fainthearted...Game is awesome, after a while it gets quite repetitive...
Great game! Never ran into any glitches or bugs, gonna 100% the game it's that good.
