About Dracula: The Resurrection

A fright-filled Adventure that transpires in the heart of Transylvania.

London 1904. Seven years after the slaying of Dracula, you play as Jonathan Harker, (the protagonist from Bram Stoker's original novel) and soon discover your wife, Mina has fled London for the Count's castle in Transylvania. Has Mina fallen prey to vampires? Or could this mean... Dracula... he's still alive?!

Bram Stoker's terrifying world is faithfully brought to life in this danger-riddled Point & Click adventure. Thirsty for blood? Do you dare play this cat and mouse game with the (un)dead? Enter at your own risk.

Key Features:
  • 1st person panoramic views properly convey the foreboding and terrifying mood
  • Puzzles, challenges and an abundance of horrible evils await as you maneuver from one location to the next
  • Journey across an eerie nighttime forest and an isolated Romanian Inn. Make your way through an abandoned underground mine system, pass images of birds nailed to graveyard crosses and encounter hooded shapes as you enter the ominous Castle of the Prince of Darkness
  • A chilling atmosphere, a menacing soundtrack and ambient SFX underscore the hair-raising fear that resonates throughout
  • Animated cutscenes bring the story to life and transports you into the dark depths of the world of Dracula

I was enjoying the game until you get to the end and theres a deleted scene due to nudity so it completly breaks the ending.. so you can't complete it. That seriously ruins it. The game just sits unplayable. I had to watch the end on youtube. Way to ruin it guys.

I had played this game on CD back near 2000 but this digital version sucks. 1. The interface and small cutscenes are missing the original content and designs. 2. The more intricate puzzles in this version auto-solve on their own. 3. The original intro is completely cut from this version. Grant it... this is a very old game and was originally difficult because the lack of direction but very short point/click story. I wish this was true to the original though.

I played this when I was first getting into pc games as a kid. when I found it on steam I was super excited and for a basic point and click it still holds up pretty well. I downloaded the rest of the games when I got this one as well. Part of the reason I wanted to write the review is to warn people that if they were going to continue with the rest of the series the second one can be downloaded from steam but there is a glitch in it that makes it unplayable. Some of the puzzle pieces do not spawn in correctly and make it to where early game tasks can't be completed and progression is impossible.

Played when it originally released. It is a magnificent point and click adventure that includes the characters from 'Dracula' by Bram Stoker. The kind of game where I purchased the entire franchise.

Played this game when it first came out eons ago. Playing it now, I am pretty impressed with the graphics and animations. The game is a fun little time waster. Campy and challenging at times. Not very hand-holdy and I like that. Had to pull up a walkthrough a couple of times to point me in the right direction after wasting a good amount of time. Beat the game in 11 hours. A leisurely stroll. If you're looking for a trip down nostalgia road, like point-and-click style puzzle adventures or maybe you just want to see what 3D gaming looked like in it's earlier stages, I'd say give this a go if it's on sale. I wouldn't recommend full price at all with how short it is.
