About Dracula 3: The Path of the Dragon

The trilogy continues as the Prince of Darkness rises again.

September 1920, the Vatican appoints Father Arno Moriani, the "Devil's Advocate", to investigate a potential candidate for Sainthood in Transylvania. But in the shadows of the disturbing ruins that were once Vlad the Impaler's castle, his investigation takes an unexpected turn...

There is obviously no such thing as vampires... at least according to the official line of the Catholic Church. But how can you be so sure, standing in the swirling mists of Transylvania? Carry out your investigation amidst tales of bloody deeds and ancestral fears.

Key Features:
  • High Definition graphics and movies with full panoramic views to see every unnerving detail
  • Unlocking puzzles will require a test of your skills across sight, sound and taste (the taste of blood that is)
  • Special hidden bonuses lurk in the darkness but well worth the reward if you dare to solve it
  • Moody music, fear-inducing darkness and environments, an investigation that proves the further you dig, the deeper you sink into this diabolical occult adventure

To keep this short. Was super excited when I saw this on the Steam store cause I've since lost my physical OG game. DO NOT buy this. I immediately refunded this. Half the puzzles are gone, its watered down and abridged. Completely different from the OG game. Not worth even at this low of a price, let alone on sale. Just filled with complete and utter disappointment.

Finished it again after many years. Looks like this is a crippled version of the original without the puzzles.

Dracula 3: The Path of the Dragon is a slow-burning, cerebral gothic adventure that leans heavily into investigation, atmosphere, and religious intrigue rather than overt action or constant spectacle. Developed and published by Microids, this third entry in the Dracula adventure series deliberately steps away from the direct continuation of Jonathan Harker’s story and instead presents a standalone narrative set in 1920, offering a more introspective and scholarly take on vampire mythology. It is a game that asks for patience, attention, and curiosity, rewarding players who enjoy unraveling mysteries through careful observation and deduction. The story places the player in the role of Father Arno Moriani, a Vatican investigator sent to Transylvania to examine the life and death of a local doctor whose legacy may qualify him for sainthood. What begins as a theological inquiry slowly transforms into something far more unsettling, as Moriani uncovers links between religious doctrine, ancient cults, and vampiric legends rooted in the region’s history. Rather than presenting Dracula as an immediate physical threat, the game treats him as a looming intellectual and spiritual presence, bu…
