About Adios

✦ AI summary

Adios is a cinematic first-person game where you play a Kansas pig farmer who finally decides to quit his secret work disposing of bodies for the mob, only to spend a tense day trying to convince your hitman friend to let you go. Your choices throughout this intimate, morally charged confrontation determine whether you escape your past or meet a darker fate.

A pig farmer decides he no longer wants to dispose of bodies for the mob. What follows is a discussion between him and his would-be killer.

What Steam players say

✦ AI summary

Players praise the game's emotionally impactful narrative, beautiful writing, and excellent voice acting that creates a deeply moving experience. However, many feel the game would work better as a stage play than an interactive medium, with some noting that the light gameplay elements and occasional awkward mechanics occasionally undermine the serious emotional tone rather than enhance it.

A game I haven't played for over 5 years and one I still think about anytime I think about great narrative in videogames. An outstanding experience, well worth the price.

Got this one in a humble bundle a long time ago. It was an alright game. Very narrative driven, but for the amount of gameplay, consisting of mostly standing around and doing nothing for 30 mins, this is not worth the price. My gf watched me play this, said the suit guy looked like charlie kirk, then instantly fell asleep.

This one hurts in such a good way. The things you have already given up, why you make your decision, and all the little things that are left unsaid from game to game. I love this gut punch.
