Lay of the Land

really fun game i wish it was multiplayer tho

Lay of the land is the first game i would genuinely say is a upgrade over Minecraft, something i would expect a Minecraft 2 to be like visually, tons of tiny blocks instead of large blocks make up the world, where most other Minecraft like games i would say are more of just a twist on Minecraft with some smaller upgrades: Lay of the land truly feels like a upgrade completely in general to gameplay and how the world looks for block building games, not just with its smaller blocks, but physics, and gameplay behavior, its extremely satisfying to play, when i cut a tree it will fall once disconnected from the ground like a tree would, i can then chop it into individual smaller parts and then pick up each small chunk of the tree for instant large pile of woods, its a very satisfying system. there are 2 things i would like to note for those interested in buying, this is not a endlessly procedural world, each world is different in the terrain and where everything is, but every world will have 1 of each biome construct on a large island with a volcano in the middle, and it wont create any new environment no matter how far you try to sail away from the island, the island is all you get, i…

Amazing voxel game like Minecraft, except the voxels are 10 times smaller. Its basically Teardown if it was a survival crafting game, and was better made

Very Fun,And the bosses need a map tho

If you are looking for a short but normal length solo survival game about fighting unrealistic enemies, magic, and bosses, with creativity everywhere, get this game. If you want multiplayer or something replayable, don't bother. This got one storyline, and it was really refreshing for what it was worth. Almost everything had a new experience. I wish the base building had more meaning, like a safe zone. Too many enemies spawn in the level 1 zone, even. The bosses are just a slow laser beam grind. Though the game has physics, some are very broken. Anything moving hurts or kills you. The map is slightly too big, too. It is an unnecessary 6 minute run from one region to another, like the map should be half or a third the size. I shouldn't feel the need to cheese bosses like this is as bad as Terraria or Minecraft, and I definitely shouldn't be bored of walking enough to scroll Instagram for half the time i'm playing. You should be able to continuously run outside combat if you have to travel so far.
