✦ AI summary

Killer Instinct is praised by players as an accessible fighting game with fun gameplay, engaging counter-breaker mechanics, and a diverse cast of competitive characters, plus a great soundtrack. However, players are frustrated by the free-to-play model that locks most characters behind a paywall, the aging visuals compared to modern fighting games, and a lackluster cosmetics shop, with many feeling the monetization makes them prefer not to play at all. Players appear to recommend it mainly for newcomers to fighting games rather than as a primary competitive title.

paying 30 dollars to unlock just the characters cause you got it listed for free makes completely no sense that just makes everyone wanna continue playing the free version or not the game at all.

The game is very fun for someone starting out in fighting games.
