Not recommended Bought this because the production quality and Chinese historical FMV premise looked strong. What I actually got was an incomplete product for English players. Large parts of the game have missing or broken English subtitles. Some scenes are completely untranslated, others mix Chinese and English in the same line, and important text (character intros, death/ending explanations, on-screen information) is frequently left in Chinese only. The subtitles that do exist are often too fast to read comfortably, with no speed option. On top of that, the game requires a constant internet connection. Connection issues can prevent you from launching or continuing, which is unacceptable for what is essentially a single-player interactive movie. The live-action production itself is solid, but that doesn’t matter when you can’t properly follow the story or play without being online. Listing English as supported while shipping it in this state is misleading. Until the subtitles are actually complete and the always-online requirement is removed or fixed, I can’t recommend this to anyone who doesn’t read Chinese. Please, don't waste your money on this.
