It's a decent game, especially for it's time. I enjoyed this game although I quite literally can't tab out at all and enter the game again, it'll just crash. So I had to stay playing the game the entire time. No video options help either. I lost data twice both 30 minutes in and 10 minutes in because of this, not realizing it just crashed both times. I like the story and the vibe of the game, although some things are just unclear. Like, how am I supposed to know I'm meant to right click to open my menu and items? Took me almost 40 minutes to figure this out. Other than that, it's decent enough. I'm not sure why people aren't cutting it more slack.

this will require some workarounds to play, though dgvoodoo2 seemed to work after a lot of messing around with it And any alt tabbing will break the game the game is point and click but you can spin the camera by putting your cursor on the edge of the screen, which isn't any better than the usual click to move in such games as the cursor can quite often go off screen Getting the right information can require pretty specific dialogue paths, or at least it seems that way, it should seemingly lead to the same place and the dialogues and cinematics can't be skipped i just can't care enough to keep reloading to see if i've got the necessary information or not, i wouldn't say the game is worth it

This game is a pain to get running correctly. Save yourself the hassle and use dgVoodoo. Cap the program refresh rate to 60. There is a bug when you get to the second story house office in the second act which will cause *all notes* for the rest of the game to become uninteractable. If you encounter this, reload an earlier save and use every single interaction point in the house before opening the desk. This game is worth going to all this extra effort for. The developers wanted to ensure there were multiple paths through the game, so any given playthrough will see less than half of the available dialogue. Outside of key puzzles there are almost always alternative progression methods. As such, you should try to avoid using a guide as the guides I've seen tend to miss some of the more entertaining options. The vast majority of this game is spent talking to people, although there are a handful of adventure game puzzles. Only two of them are puzzles I would consider irritating. Post Mortem is an interesting horror point-and-click adventure that manages to stand out thanks to its atmosphere, characters, and variety of gameplay mechanics. I played this a long time ago when I had it on CDROM. Man.. Life sure was simpler back then. Anyway, it is a decent adventure game with a fairly run of the mill story, though there are a few twists and turns that occur. At least that's how I remember it. I really just played it today to see how it runs on newer computers. Runs fine, though I kept clicking out of the screen due to having two monitors. I don't know that I'll ever really come back to it. That being said, it's a decent Adventure game that uses a First Person Perspective for a lot of looking around. It certainly feels out-dated at this point, but this game is often fairly cheap and could be a treat if you're a fan of the old adventure titles.
