Music is fantastic and is changed according to the scene, which gives players immersive experience in this world. I have to give five stars to this game, wonderful!

cute cozy and calming game, enjoyed it so so much! love all the dialogues and the characters :) go claire!!

This is such a cute game. It is not really linear. So you can climb straight to the top and close the game. Or you do like my to play 12 hours to get every achievement and make everyone in game happy. It is very cozy and nice game for in between.

A Short Hike isn't misleading in its title. It took me 4 hours to complete, but within those 4 hours, I was completely immersed in the charming, child-like whimsy of a game. As Claire, you're trying to find gold feathers to add to your stamina so you can get to the top of Hawk Peak, but the journey to get there had me (almost) avoiding hiking to the top. I wanted to stay in this world fishing, playing stickball, and driving the speedboat. When I did eventually decide to reach the top, it filled me with so much hopeful, nostalgic joy that was pleasantly surprising. There was an option to turn off the chunky 3D graphics, but I enjoyed them and recommend leaving them on. The soundtrack is uplifting, cheerful, and peaceful with soft piano, uplifting strings, and fun rhythmic percussion—a soundscape that leaves you soaring with joy. How fitting. One of the most memorable games I've ever played, and one that I will hold close. 9/10.
