This was one of my all time faves :D

I liked this one too. It's a shame that there's some kind of licensing issues where the new IP owners switched to f2p for everything and delisted this game. HOGs are dime a dozen and even 10+ years later I still think about the imagery in this series every now and again.

Quite the improvement from the first game especially in regards to cutscene quality
Recommended Mar 2, 2026
In a lot of ways, this game does a lot of things right when you are looking for a decent Hidden Object Game. The graphics are well done with lots of animation and detail in the scenes. Cutscenes and story are enjoyable - although voices for a few characters are odd (old man blocking the tavern, please stand!). Puzzles are logical and work as expected, and the alternate method of solving hidden objects is relatively painless. Even gathering collectibles is done well, although you do have to do multiple playthroughs to get all achievements. Still, pretty much the type of game you want to play when indulging in hidden object searches. 8.5 out of 10 fish filets!
