I've played a lot of Backroom games & this is the WORST one I've ever played. It glitches, lags and janks! The stamina is god awful. Your bullets don't always count. The puzzles are awful. Sam..omg she has to be right up your butt! If not the game won't let you move forward. The voice acting..I'm sorry but it was awful. You could tell they were reading off the script. The ending? Just... terrible. Absolutely terrible If you're still thinking about buying, watch a youtube gameplay first. Because this game is not even worth 0.99 cent

I've been slightly obsessed with Backrooms stuff since I learned about it. This was pretty good and is different from the other Backrooms games I've played, which interested me. All in all, I'd recommend if you like Backrooms.

'The Backrooms: Forsaken' is a little rough around the edges, but I had a good time with it. The liminal-space atmosphere feels right, the creature designs are great, and the sound design does a good job of creating that feeling of "I probably shouldn't be here." A lot of Backrooms games either become endless wandering, cheap jumpscare fests, or Spot the Difference: 'Platform 8'-style', so I really appreciated this game actually having a story to tell and somewhere to go. Most of the gameplay is walking and exploring, which isn't particularly exciting, though there are a couple of secret boss fights that help mix things up. The flashlight would have been nicer to have earlier, as there are many dark spots hidden by the lighting. I also wish there was a visual indicator for stamina so I could manage my sprint bursts better. I did run into some lag and had a particularly nasty time with crashes after the latest content update, including fatal errors which required restarting my PC. Thankfully, I was eventually able to get it running properly again. The developer has also been active and responsive, which I really appreciate, and even offered troubleshooting advice when I mentioned…
