Can't play the game because I keep getting "Server is inaccessible at this time" message.

Dev sucks. Game speed should be in players' control, not dependent on dirty intention by Dev to waste player's time.

I'm gonna just be blunt; I am DEEP into monster catching autism. If it exists and you can capture a little guy in it? It'll be my favorite game for the next 6 months and I will become insufferable about it. And that just never happened to me with Temtem. Do you know how hard that is? Can you even comprehend how difficult it is to make a monster catching RPG a soul draining, unfun experience for me? Probably not because you don't know me but let me paint a picture; Imagine the ugliest parody of a Discord moderator you can fathom rejecting his microwave chicken tenders because they are too flavorless. It's almost beyond comprehension. Part of my overall disdain is for sure subjective in that I just think the game is extremely ugly looking across the board, but that's never been the part that kept me from playing. I grew up with the original gameboy, I just need to be able to figure out what I'm looking at to get through a game - and I've got a high tolerance for slog. The idea is cool and I like the whole monster-catching MMO concept, but actually playing it felt way more tedious than fun. The grind gets old fast, progression feels unnecessarily slow, and a lot of the game started feeling like a chore rather than something I was looking forward to playing. There are some things I liked, especially the battles and exploring the world, but they weren't enough to keep me interested. I kept playing hoping it would eventually click, but it never really did. Maybe it's just not for me, but after putting some time into it, I can't say I had a particularly good experience. 3/10.

It's fun, but the exp all needs to be available before the post game, not after. It really dissuades you from catching new tems in the areas you discover and using more than 2-3 tems in total. Anything more and you'll have to spend hours griding in tall grass to level (a single) tem up to a useable level. would also just flat out be better if it was offline option and supported mods.

It's probably got 100 hours of content. If you think $45 is worth that, then its absolutely a good buy. Temtem is the Pokemon mmo rpg everyone wanted but never got. It's apparently been abandoned though. But from what I understand it was nothing shady, the devs basically said they're ready to close the book on Temtem and move onto something else. Idk... who can blame them? They left it running to be played online by yourself or with friends, so that's pretty cool I guess. I think people get pissed on here because they probably invested a lot of time into a game that didn't last as long as they hoped.
