not really worth $10, but its fun. id say its worth like $5, but then again, you get your moneys worth if you are the type to 100% games. it is fairly hard, but may be easier with more then 2 people. cool maps. 6.5/104 found this helpful
Ten gigs for ten bucks. There is a lot of "cheap sci fi" immersion going on. The game is actually pretty cool. Needs a lot of bug fixing and a movement overhaul, maybe better tooltips and get rid of the tutorial. The game isn't perfect, but you can tell they put a lot of effort into this title. There is also a lot of incremental growth I'm looking forward to completing later on.1 found this helpful
While the game is a tower defense game, it's more of a mechanic to support the gameplay loop and atmosphere of the game, if that makes sense. You go to planets, grather your ressources and put up turrets (towers) to keep the native species away from you and your ship while you gather resources. This is particular interesting in multiplayer because you can have people focus on different tasks. There is also a pvp mode which is interesting for this kind of game. Try it if space exploration is something you enjoy and you don't have a problem with tower defense games.
Reminds me of the old-school RTS games but with a modern FPS twist. Really refreshing.
