✦ AI summary

Overlord: Raising Hell is a classic strategy-puzzle game that players praise for its unique gameplay, hilarious story, and ability to still entertain despite its age, though many note it shows its years with clunky controls and occasional crashes. The DLC content is considered essential for connecting to Overlord 2 and enhancing the original experience, though players should be aware this is DLC requiring the base game to run. Most who enjoy the genre consider it worth experiencing for its charm and distinctive mechanics, particularly those who value gameplay substance over modern graphics.

Classic gameplay I loved. Occasional sudden crashes, but a good autosave usually fixed that. The DLC I never played before which made the classic game more interesting! I hope anyone who likes Battle/Puzzle games finds this.

There is no way I never reviewed this gem. Anyway, this DLC is a 'must have' if you want to play Overlord 2. It ties the two together nicely. I enjoyed its contents. Though, the final boss is kind of confusing, since it works differently than most bosses but I am sure everyone can figure it out. This game and its DLC shows what games used to be about. Graphics are really not everything.

This is just a DLC for the first game and won't launch if that's not installed
Recommended Sep 28, 2026
A classic that stands up to some other other games even in the current day. Definitely a must experience, if only because of it's unique gameplay.

showing its age, rather clunky, but still as fun as it was

Fun game old/janky controls but hilarious story
