✦ AI summary

Morphopolis is an artistic, hand-drawn point-and-click puzzle game about insect metamorphosis that players praise for its beautiful visuals and relaxing soundtrack, though some find the colorful art occasionally cluttered and hard to parse. The main drawbacks are significant performance issues, sluggish controls, and frequent crashes that severely hamper the experience for many players. Most seem to appreciate the game's aesthetic merit, but the technical problems make it a risky purchase unless you're willing to troubleshoot compatibility settings.

Morphopolis is an artistic little point-and-click indie puzzle game that can be completed in just a couple of hours. Getting 100% of the achievements is very simple because all of them unlock automatically as you progress through the game. The entire experience feels like a small hobby project from the developers. There are absolutely no options or settings in the main menu. You just select a chapter and start playing immediately. There are 5 chapters in total, and each one unlocks right after you finish the previous chapter. The artwork is hand-drawn, making the game look very beautiful, colorful, and artistic. There is no real story to follow here. Instead, you just watch and progress through the different transformation stages of a bug. The music and sound design are also well done. However, the gameplay has some frustrating issues. Most of the puzzles are on the easier side, but there are a couple of slider puzzles that feel very annoying and frustrating to solve. The art style is kind of cool, but on the other hand, it sometimes turns into such a jumble of colors that it’s impossible to make anything out

Unplayable. Tried to switch compatibility to win8 and it helped a bit but all is very slow and clunky.

The game is badly let down by too many issues. 1.For a point and click game, the performance seems terrible - very slow tedious loading screen. 2.Movement controls seem very poor. The first level seems very poorly handled as it took about 10-15 clicks to move a few millimeters 3.The game seems to crash a lot, leaving some weird console window up
