Deponia Doomsday

Played the 4 Games, This is a goodbye and I hope in the distant future there is a Deponia 5, After seeing Rufus and his Desire to save the love of his life even if he was a prick and an egotistical guy , the characters we met during the story, and seeing such an ending, I couldnt help but shed a tear after our long adventure of just Humor and Drama, Daedalic if you see this which I don't think you will, Thanks, Your game made me laugh and only at such an end, Cry. Huzzah! Now He is gone. Deponia Forever.

The story is TRASH do not buy it.

Fun game, but the plot was very confusing... I am currently waiting for my future self to travel back in time and explain everything.

Probably the weakest one out of the four games. The puzzles are a bit confusing—more than usual—and a few times you have to regather items due to time travel shenanigans. Still, I liked the ending with the last "Huzzah" playing and ending an era for good this time. It made me happy and sad at the same time, it was just bittersweet. Play the first three games and grab this one on sale. Get out a guide and just take in the story and humor—that is my advice. Droggelbecher!

I have a mixed feeling about this game. If you have played (and loved) the Deponia trilogy, this game may be not as fun, and much more confusing. For the record, in the first 3 games, I only sought for the guide like once or twice, and it was always because I forgot to pick something up. But in Deponia Doomsday, many times I had no clue what to do next, even after I interacted with everything again and again. Some of the familiar elements are missing in this game too. Like the songs from the narrator every time we enter a new location, gone. Or the self-planned map of Rufus, gone too. On top of that, Deponia Doomsday adds many timed sequences, where you have to re-do everything when the time is out. Maybe it helps with the narration of the [spoiler] time-loop and time-reset [/spoiler] story, but for a puzzle game where you have to think creatively, this adds more stress than fun, and makes the game much more tedious, at least for me. As for the story, well, some may like it, some may not. For me, it got better when it came near the end. And although it's not the ending everyone is expecting, the story really lets you think about the meaning of [spoiler] acceptance [/spoiler],…
