The game contains a lot of mandatory dialogue and text, which may not appeal to everyone. Personally, I felt that the pacing suffered because the story content often took focus away from the gameplay. While the gameplay itself seems solid, it can be difficult to fully appreciate beneath the large amount of dialogue and exposition. If you enjoy story-heavy games with plenty of reading, there's likely a good experience here. However, players looking for a more gameplay-focused experience may find it harder to get into.

Looks like an alright game. I like the exploration and the events. Battles are average. Interesting loot and management. Oh, it has game breaking bugs - the kind you cannot do anything and get stuck..

This is a strange game, quite grindy and rought on the edges, but with quite a lot of natural charm by itself, It reminds my of old flash games and even if some of the game is quite redundant I recommend playing it at least one to enjoy the experience. People complain about the text, but I think that the offender is the monotony of some explorations and discovering how busted is de engineer, the run ender machine. I honestly don't know why I initially bought this game, but I don't regret it. I guess you could think of this as a Civilization game, but a LOT less nuanced, but with a story. Go across a map visiting waypoints and then scroll to the right as you defeat enemies and perform various dice rolls. I am not about to say that this game is a masterpiece, but it does have a somewhat appealing and addicting gameplay loop. Honestly, the dialogue is clunky and pretends to be poetic or philosophical and I found it to be really annoying. Occasionally seeing my characters randomly say "Seek life and die. Seek death and live!" made me grimace each time. Tagged as a roguelike, it does have a mechanic in the game to make each subsequent run easier, but it's quite a lot of work for not that much of a reward. My one run was about 70 hours. After all that time of hunting squads and dumping 20 levels into increased starting stats, it turns into +10 starting stats. Which is a lot in the short run, I suppose, but I figured it'd be a 1-for-1 exchange there. All in all, I'd give this one a 5 out of 10. The gameplay loop does a lot of heavy lifting. I really enjoyed the first game on my phone so I took a chance to check this one out...wow. Has that Darkest Dungeon 1 vibe, very difficult yet it's addicting with it's roguelike progression. The story is actually the one of the better parts of this one. As of 2026 it's kind of realistic and people today should be able to relate in some form or fashion. Banan is a great character lead and her mission is one that most of us can see going on today The many classes and builds are really good, nice survival elements, great combat and lots of weapons and gear to loot.
