About Autobahn Police Simulator
Enforce traffic laws and respond to accidents across 40 kilometers of the German Autobahn in this realistic police simulation featuring 40 story missions and 100 procedurally generated free-play operations. Chase suspects, conduct sobriety checks, investigate crashes, and manage emergency scenes with authentic radio communications and multiple vehicle options.
In addition to the 40 missions revolving around the daily duties of the Autobahn Police, one can enjoy the extensive “Free Play” mode. This mode generates random radio calls for operations which the player is free to accept. All in all, this mode includes 100 additional operations at various locations and times of day. Accidents can be more or less severe and can also include trucks. The fully equipped patrol car houses all material needed to secure and inspect the accident site. Emergency vehicles, fire trucks and rescue services complete the scene at the accident.
Another option available to the player is to use the “Bitte folgen” (Follow Me) sign of the patrol car to flag down suspicious cars. Drivers trying to escape have to be chased down and stopped.
In the course of an inspection, the driver has to be examined for alcohol abuse, possession of drugs and for the roadworthiness of his car.
The simulation covers a total Autobahn stretch of 40 kilometres (approx. 25 miles). Some sections have a speed limit where the player can perform speed checks out of an unmarked police car.
Realistic radio communications create a real life and exciting atmosphere, further enhanced by the day and night mode with its emergency light operations.
The game offers a view from within the car as well as from an exterior camera view with a free movement. Using a steering wheel will make the simulation even more enjoyable.

Not Recommended The idea is interesting, but the game is held back by clunky controls and some really frustrating mechanics. Driving doesn't feel smooth, and some actions are unnecessarily complicated, especially on a controller. The missions also become repetitive pretty quickly, and I never really felt like I was having fun. There is potential here, but the current state needs a lot more polish.
Honestly, I bought this game hoping to finally get a decent police simulator, and for about ten minutes I was actually enjoying it. You pull cars over, check documents, look for anything suspicious — it feels like it could be fun. But then you meet the driving physics, and everything falls apart. The car handles like the steering wheel is connected to a random number generator. One small tap and you're spinning into the guardrail, doing a full flip, while your "chaos" meter happily climbs up. On the highway at high speed it's not that bad, but the moment you slow down, the car starts sliding around like it's on ice. The tasks themselves are okay at first, but they get repetitive really fast. Stop a car, check the lights, ask for documents, check for alcohol or drugs, give a fine or a warning — and that's basically it, over and over. After about ten stops you already know every possible dialogue option by heart. The map doesn't help either. You're stuck on three highways, and if you try to leave them, the game just teleports you back. It took this long to see the game was horribly buggy with bad controls. The other reviews say it is monotonous and boring to the point it forgot it was supposed to be a game but I didn't have the luxury of reaching that point.
