Can you grow the biggest Sparkle in the world?

Subtle, captivating, addictive. These three words describe the world of Sparkle - world in which you make a tiny aquatic creature evolve into becoming a grown, magnificent being.

We give you control over your Sparkle's development and wellbeing, and you have one goal - to evolve. Whilst exploring the Sparkle Void, you find various nutritious elements to eat. Sometimes you will even have to fight for food with other species. You become what you eat - you get to choose whether your sparkle becomes a fast and aggressive carnivore, a sluggish but fast-eating herbivore, or an omnivore, whose features lie somewhere in between. Insight to your Sparkle's DNA strand will give you information about the progress and will help you plan which microelements you want to focus on eating next. You will also get to fight giant bosses from time to time.

But there’s no rush to keep the game in full swing at all times. You may as well just relax, play the game on a slow pace, explore the sparkle void, consume nutritional elements, enjoy simple and surreal surrounding and listen to the ambient music soundtrack. The choice is all yours.

- Three different ways to evolve. Become a fast and agressive carnivore, a sluggish but fast eating herbivore, or an omnivore whose features lie somewhere in between
- Play through 13 dreamlike looking levels.
- Use GenLab to check your Sparkles DNA strand, your progress, status of your special skills, and plan what to eat next accordingly.

Every time I attempted to start a mission, the game would get errors and crash on me.

It has a bug after the octopus level that does not allow to change layer, and you need to restart the game to fix it. I was stuck in a level with too many layers where I cannot find the remaining color stuff, and the radar does not indicate anthing remaining (possibly a bug). Some color orbs do not lower the counter, which seems like another bug or made on purpose to make the levels last longer. The game is repetitive and boring. Levels appear in a weird order, so it is hard to know which you should play next. Menus are not intuitive. Not recommended, not even in sale.

A calm and visually pleasing evolution game where you slowly grow and adapt your creature. Relaxing gameplay with a nice atmosphere.‍

It's better than the first Sparkle game, in that it's more complex and has more of a "game" aspect to it. You just push your "sparkle" (Looks more like a water insect) into everything it can to eat and level to get fatter and (hopefully) faster. I don't know what other parameters are necessary other than speed, and it doesn't matter. You battle against an AI copy of your sparkle to eat as much as possible, and there's a bit of a learning curve as later on there are different ocean creatures that have alternate ways to be eaten. There's a big jellyfish that requries you to eat its insides and then go in front and tap it on the head to break it apart. It's not something you're going to be playing to examine parameters or come up with strategies, and once you know how to play, you can't lose. There's also two final big creatures to eat post-endgame that are pretty cool but not particularly complex or interesting. This is totally a casual game, worth playing for the trippy visuals and ambience, but also pointless in that has little replayability once you get through it.
