Haunt the House: Terrortown

As you already know from other reviews, the original level loves to crash every 5~ minutes. However, i managed to play through it without any issues after i loaded prior to playing another level before it (i don't know if you have to complete though, i didn't test it). I don't know if this helps the game in some capacity but you managed to get pass this annoying issue the game is worth it. Even if you don't manage to load it without issues, for 40 cents you can play the other levels they made which are newer and better. You don't miss much for not playing the first level other some nostalgia i guess.

i played Haunt the House for years when it was still a simple online flash game and it is still utterly chaotically delightful all this time later. 10/10 cute spook

It's alright. You control kind of adorable ghost characters to scare people out of whatever building/level you're in pros -simple controls -easy to learn -cute cartoony artstyle all around -you can choose to play the levels in whatever order you want -game saves your progress, so if you crash or need to leave mid-level, you can hop right back in -nostalgia for those who played the flash game(s) when flash was still around cons -It can take forever for an NPC to actually exit the level once they're scared enough to run around with their hands in the air and/or mouth open from screaming -Music is fine but it's not catchy enough to survive the amount of time you spend per level -Gameplay will eventually turn into "spam specific scare(s) to fill up atmosphere bar faster" + waiting for the NPCs to either jump or leave; repetitive gameplay all around -Game crashes more than i would like or expect it to
