Very slow and boring gameplay. First mission is tutorial which takes roughly 20 minutes or so. Controls a bit clunky. Inventory can contain 4 items only so you end up dropping everything just to keep that gun, ammo and melee weapon. Did I mention keys to unlock door take space in inventory too? Yeah. You can add AI which will accompany you during gameplay. Whole experience feels shallow and fuzzy and I was expecting a lot more in terms of gameplay. Comparing this one to other top down view shooters this one is pretty bad. Just play something different it's gonna be a whole lot better than this one. Other games with a lot better gameplay similar to this one: Shadowgrounds, Alien Swarm, Alien Shooter, Ascent, Zombienation, Alienation.
Rather than following the fast-paced action style common in many modern zombie games, Outbreak focuses on slower and more methodical gameplay built around survival, careful planning, and constant tension. While the game undeniably shows the limitations of its budget, it still manages to capture the spirit of retro horror surprisingly well for players willing to overlook its technical flaws. The game places players inside a world devastated by a deadly outbreak that has transformed large portions of the population into violent undead creatures. Survival becomes the primary objective as players search abandoned environments for supplies, keys, ammunition, and healing items while avoiding or fighting off infected enemies. The atmosphere constantly emphasizes vulnerability. Ammunition is scarce, inventory space is …
