Don't be dumb like me and not get the irony of the other reviews. This game is like Resi but if you gave it 30 FPS and every time your player jumped, it screams. Not to mention the "monster screaming" which will shake your entire screen to the point of motion sickness every 5 steps. Maybe buy it for like a 95% sale. but still probably not worth.23 found this helpful
I'm a big big fan of classic survival horror games, and unfortunately this isn't worth the time or money. I've given it a fair chance but it's just so rushed, cheap and sloppily put together. Core game play is breaking open boxes, finding numbers to open doors and hitting zombies with a tiny metal bar that breaks your characters arm each swing. Stamina drains from every single action, the biggest drain being...picking up items... Infection rate is constant and goes up way too fast to the point you need to plan your route almost perfectly. Only way to lower it is a rare blue herb. Zombies are everywhere and running past them is difficult due to their hitboxes taking up whole doorways, stairs and corridors, so you need to fight them, wasting time, ammo and infection. You can't take bites to push them off either, so you need to fight them or die to the immovable zombie wall. Enemy placements are not well thought out at all. You can't force players to fight so many enemies when the infection rate goes up so incredibly fast. Environments are ugly. All underground and industrial. Long stun boxes when knocked down, or when falling from forced falls, resulting in enemies getting…20 found this helpful
WOW....this game is terrible and overpriced! Played for almost an hour but cannot play it anymore; keeps crashing and locking up my controls. I plan on refunding? The game is unbalanced; player is always infected, hurt or lost. And as i stated above the game also suffers from poor performance and needs a lot of optimization. The map is useless and you will die a lot. The save feature is horrible, no auto save so you have to find one of the very few save places. Once you die then you go back to the beginning because you don't have a save. A very frustrating game!9 found this helpful
The game is lacking as it is, untouched since 2024 . Voiceover, just a listlessly murmured few nonsenses. You can't strike and break obstacles when crouched, why ? You can't strike obstacles running, again why ?? I'll tell you: A relevant timed part is fleeing for you life with your way piled with obstacles, crates and barrels everywhere AND you have to crouch under wire meshes with, oh, crates and barrels below and before and just after. And some of the crates, depending on barely seen color in the semi dark of your flashlight are indestructible with your pipe. Stamina last seconds, your get slowed by your infection, or get slowed by falls, nevermind foes. This are forced ways to prolong and make less evident the short duration of the game, making you try again and again in fustration. A while later the game ends abruptly with a TO BE CONTINUED ... There are crates only breakable by handgun, shotgun or MSG, but you complete allmost all the game with a pipe, so, can't take advantage. Hundreds of crates. NG+ ? Why would you bother ? Inventory size is minimal, that old trope must die already. Number of saves are restricted with a clunky system. Again, the resulting bactracking …1 found this helpful
