What I like: 1. Witty and humorous monologues and dialoguing that remind me of the Broken Sword Reforged series. 2. Good save feature that preserves what you've accomplished up to the second. 3. Fun time travel and interaction with Da Vinci, Beethoven and Newton that assists them to achieve what they are most famous for. What I don't like: 1. Slowwww walking from one end to the other multiple times across each scenario. 2. A lot of what you must collect and combine is unintuitive...for example, who would know to place sawdust in the tea brewing machine, or make gunpowder without a recipe to blow open a locked door? Keep a walkthrough handy. Overall, worth the effort but, as I mentioned, the Broken Sword Reforged games are superior.

Kelvin and the Infamous Machine is a funny old school point 'n click time travel adventure. Gfx and animations are fine. The setting is ridiculous, in a good way, including humorous references and easter eggs to other franchises. The game is split in four short few-screen chapters with puzzles ranging from easy to the sometimes ridiculous you often see in these types of games. I had some good laughs with this one. Spent about three evenings to 100% it.

Kelvin and the Infamous Machine is a point-and-click adventure game developed and published by Blyts that successfully captures the charm of classic adventure gaming while introducing its own humorous take on time travel and historical mischief. Inspired by the golden era of narrative-driven adventures, the game combines clever puzzle design, colorful visuals, memorable characters, and a lighthearted storyline into an experience that feels both nostalgic and accessible. It embraces the traditions established by genre classics while maintaining enough originality to stand comfortably on its own. The story follows Kelvin, a young and somewhat inexperienced laboratory assistant who works alongside the brilliant scientist Dr. Edwin Lupin and fellow researcher Lise. What begins as a celebration of a groundbreaking invention quickly turns into chaos when Lupin unveils a functioning time machine and receives ridicule instead of praise from the scientific community. Frustrated and humiliated, he decides to use his invention to travel through history and claim credit for humanity's greatest discoveries and achievements. His actions threaten the integrity of the timeline, forcing Kelvin and…

i love playing it even after so many years it never gets old

Even though this game was published in 2016, it is still ridiculously fun to play to this day, and relatively easy to 100% your first playthrough, in under 5 hours-- even if you're the explorer-type, like me. Not esp complicated puzzles, but there's one particular achievement that, if you're playing today and not back in 2016, has a few extra steps to acquire that aren't immediately obvious when using Windows 11, specifically the "Real Life Time-Traveler" Achievement **SPOILERS FOR THE ACHIEVEMENT AHEAD**: [spoiler] To get this achievement, you have to manually set the date on your PC prior to 1993, when the specific game in question the achievement is referring to was released. However, when you go to manually adjust the date/time under Settings -> Time & Language -> Date & Time and uncheck "Set Date Automatically", you'll notice that the display date only goes back max 30 years, to 1996 (It is 2026, as of writing). What you have to do, then, is set the date FIRST to 1996, then go back and select it AGAIN to revert the date back even further, to 1992. After doing this, simply open the game and click "Play", then go back and close the game--you don't even need to load an actual c…
