I liked the humour and the strange world, but unfortunately the experience felt quite boring at times, and getting stuck on some of the puzzles became more annoying than enjoyable. A clever concept that just didn’t fully click for me.

[u] Everything is normal... according to Lilly [/u] Harvey’s New Eyes is one of my favorite point-and-click adventure games, and I really enjoyed playing it. I played the first game before this one, and the humor and story are what made me love these games so much. I really love how Lilly doesn’t seem to understand the consequences of what she does. From her perspective, everything seems completely normal and innocent, while the player gets to see what is actually happening. I think that’s what makes it so funny and unique. I also really like the little gnomes painting everything pink instead of showing real blood. I think that’s such a unique detail and fits the strange humor of the game perfectly. I did encounter a bug that forced me to restart the game, so I wanted to mention it here. Bugs can happen in games, though, and it didn’t change how much I enjoyed the game. I would definitely recommend this game. If you like point-and-click adventure games with dark humor and a unique story, you should definitely give it a try. Shibuya power!
