Necrolance

Basic but bretty blayable

Necrolance is a fun little chill game! It's very reminiscent of retro games from the Gameboy era and there's absolutely nothing wrong that! The controls are extremely tight, the levels are fair, expansive, and have a bit of exploration. Multiple items to find, weapons to use, and another character to master! Definitely a GREAT pickup for the price. Fun Game, Challenging and good gameplay, beat the game today on normal mode... boy it was hard but a great game to keep trying and work at beating it :)

Necrolance is a fantasy themed 2D retro pixel platformer, one of thousands polluting Steam. This one has you running around with a stick that you can charge through blocks with, and there's boss fights and stuff. They chose to use obsolete retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. Resolution is locked and can't be changed. While this is far from the worst 2D retro pixel platformer I've suffered through, as a genuine attempt to make a game seems to have taken place, it's still very low quality and too hard to recommend.
