Very funny game and lots of fun. Also learned how to cook eggs in Antarctica. 10/10

great game about zoomoid society

Admittedly, I didn't replay this game much, and despite it only says I played for 2 hours, this game had me on a chokehold when I did. It felt like I was playing for longer. I have learned skills I never thought I had; flipping eggs while keeping the roaches from crawling away. The final boss - if you can call it that - was ...so on brand. So frustrating and satisfying at the same time. The dialog makes no sense to me but it doesn't matter. I don't need to understand why I'm cooking eggs for all these people. I don't need to understand why doing so allows me to ride a helicopter to reach the mountain and flip an egg there. At least it wasn't flipping a finger. I believe my finishing this game was thanks to luck. I'm too scared to replay this again - this is why the game was bundled with other horror games. 10/10 would recommend.

Arctic Eggs has a silly premise, but its one of my favorite games. The gameplay is surprisingly good due to the various ingredients introducing their own challenges, and even the eggs alone are very fun to work with. The atmosphere of the game is typically dirty and ugly but I love it. The dialog is also pretty good, where it is typically funny, but can also be serious and made me think. With its small price and small runtime I heavily reccomend picking it up.

Arctic Eggs is a short, strange and charming cooking game that I really enjoyed. Controlling the pan felt a little weird at first, but once I got used to it, it became really nice. The game gets more fun the better you get at handling the pan with the different ingredients. It also communicates well, both visually and with audio cues, when something is cooked right. I enjoyed talking to the different characters around the areas. Most of them talk about what's going on around them, while some are just weird and random, which I liked. One of them told me "I don't need sex, I get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ by the government every day.", that got a laugh out of me and the recurring question of whether you can fry eggs on top of Mount Everest. The frozen frontier setting landed very well for me. It builds a great mood and atmosphere, and it made me curious about the world instead of only focusing on the cooking. Visually, I really like how the game looks. The low-poly, retro style fits the strange frozen world perfectly and gives it a lot of charm. The music and sound effects add to that feel as well, and the sizzling in the pan does a great job of making the cooking feel satisfying. It only…
