About Seven: Enhanced Edition

✦ AI summary

Play as master thief Teriel navigating an open isometric world across the vibrant prison island of Peh and sunken depths, choosing between stealthy infiltration, clever disguises, or all-out combat with magic and weapons. Shape your story through meaningful choices and faction alliances as you uncover conspiracies that could topple an empire.

Seven: Enhanced Edition is an open-world, isometric stealth and action role-playing game, in which you play as Teriel, a master thief sent on a mission that will shake the foundations of the Vetrall Empire. Free roam across the vibrant prison island of Peh and explore the sea depths on board of a submarine in the Drowned Past expansion.

SEVEN HOURS OF NEW GAMEPLAY IN DROWNED PAST EXPANSION

Continue exploration as serial thief Teriel, who runs into ‘the Enclave’, a ragtag group of mysterious vagabonds who have discovered the mythological sunken vessel and are exploring it in the hopes of unearthing riches. But things that are buried, are buried for good reason, as Teriel and the Enclave will discover.

EXPLORE A VIBRANT OPEN WORLD FROM AN ISOMETRIC PERSPECTIVE

From the moment you set foot on Peh, the island is open to you. Sneak, run, climb, and fight your way across a colourful array of environments.
You are free to explore wherever you please; only security checkpoints, monster-infested areas, and dangerous factions stand in your way!

CHOOSE YOUR PLAYSTYLE

As a master thief, Teriel is well versed in the art of stealth. Get the jump on enemies from behind and above, fool everyone with cunning disguises, or just use the environment to keep out of sight entirely.
If things go wrong, however, or you’re feeling impatient, there’s nothing to stop you from letting loose with an array of devastating weapons, and unleashing deadly magical skills upon your foes.

ENCOUNTER A MYRIAD OF COLOURFUL CHARACTERS

Encounter an array of people, from despondent slaves and prisoners through to rich socialites. Just be sure to keep an eye out for the two major factions on Peh: the Biomancers and the Technomagi.
In such a desperate place, there are many who will take any help they can get. Choose whether to help or exploit Peh’s inhabitants, but be prepared for the consequences.

UNCOVER AN EPIC STORY OF DECEIT AND TREACHERY

On Peh, everyone has an agenda, and often there’s more than meets the eye. Dive into a world teeming with distrust, and crushed between the machinations of mighty powers.
Work with the daemon that has possessed you to complete a mission of utmost importance. The fate of the Vetrall Empire rests in your hands.

✦ AI summary

Seven: Enhanced Edition impresses players with its atmospheric isometric world, verticality-focused level design, and engaging stealth mechanics that draw comparisons to games like Thief, with many praising the story depth and interconnected exploration. However, players note that the single-island setting feels limited despite dense content, the game can feel rushed in places, and some gameplay systems like fast travel require tedious unlocking, though most still recommend it as worth the time investment for those willing to engage with its world and mechanics.

Four years later, I have just beaten Seven again. This time I have unlocked all the achievements and discovered all regions, focused on the story and improved my character. The world, the isometric view and the atmosphere were amazing, but it was still far from being a perfect game because of some of its gameplay issues. Just because of its world design and atmosphere, I would highly recommend buying this game. You will have to invest your time and effort, for instance, in order to your fast travel you first need to hack "overseers", but it is worth the effort. I would like to thank the developers for making such a good game.

The game felt like an isometric Thief with excellent verticality. Great locales, lot of interconnected pathways to sneak around in. Game was hard to put down and it all looked and felt better than what the static screenshots show.

Yes, but... For the 1st couple of hours, maybe 8-10 (without hardcoring the story), it's SOO dam good. Stealth is there, a huge world at your fingertips.... But at the maybe 30m - 1H mark (skill lvl involved) you will realize the world isn;t as large as you may think. The problem i have is that this is one small island with SO much content, and a lot of it is pretty well thought out. RPGS being basic fetch/theft/kill/something else, it's not too much outside that, but the story is there. At some point it felt like it was rushed.... like HARD. and it suffered from it. It's an AWESOME game, but the open world is something i want MORE of, That's why i liked it, why i recommend it.
